Record Period Search

Each archive record may be allocated an approximate coverage year(s). You can search the archive for records assigned to a range of years or period.

Establish the start and end of the search period by entering a four digit from year and a four digit to year. Both years are required to undertake the search. Any archive record with a year of origin that falls within the period defined will be included in the search results.

It should be noted that not all archive records may have been assigned a coveage year and where some of those records have been assigned a coverage year, it may only be approximate.

The search results may also be filtered by the type of record, for example images only. Select any required record type filter from the drop-down list. If no record type filter is required, leave the default drop-down list option as All Types.

Select the Search button to execute the search using the specified search criteria. If the search returns a large number of archive records, the results list may be divided into a number of pages to enable easier list navigation. Select the page numbers above the results list to move through the pages.

Select an archive record from the search results list to see its details. You can return back to the search results list or the search criteria page by following the breadcrumbs trail above the lists.

Select the Clear button to reset the search criteria.
