
Image Display Fallback Rules
Collections, categories and records that are public are represented by images when displayed in various lists throughout the website. Ideally, an appropriate image will be available to display for each item when required. If an appropriate image is not available, the following fallback rules are applied.
Collections
A collection may optionally be assigned a key record that is representative of the collection.
does the collection have a key record?
No - use the filler image at 50% opacity and text in the colour defined in the plugin Settings
Yes - is the key record type an image?
No - use the filler image at 50% opacity and text in the colour defined in the plugin Settings
Yes - is the key record public?
No - use the filler image at 50% opacity and text in the colour defined in the plugin Settings
Yes - use the key record image
Categories

Records
is the record type an image?
Yes - use the record image
No - does the records have a related image?
Yes - use the record related image
No - use the image of the record type at 50% opacity overlayed with the text of the record name in the colour defined in the plugin Settings
